The CHS Blackhawk Band Parent Booster (BBPB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to ensure that the CHS Band Program (consisting of concert bands, percussion ensembles, pep band, jazz bands and the marching band) stay strong and well supported within the Cheney School District. All students, families, and staff members involved in these various performing ensembles are valuable assets to the Cheney community and School District. Therefore, our mission is to support these groups within the CHS Band Program in the following efforts: to reach a high level of musical excellence, personal character, and sense of community; to ensure that the band students are able to showcase their musicianship and gain valuable insight from judges and clinicians by performing at a variety of venues and competitions at the regional, state, and national level; and to enable every student who wants to participate the opportunity to be a part of the CHS Band Program.
